Visiting Scholar

Dr. Mitchell Merback is a professor in Art History at Johns Hopkins who specializes in Medieval and Renaissance, particularly German, Central European and Netherlandish art of the 15th and 16th centuries. He plans to deliver a lecture to a GW audience entitled "From Icon to Mirror of the Soul: Ritual Reciprocity and Therapeutic Exchange in Medieval and Renaissance Man of Sorrows Imagery."
